MANILA, Philippines - The three-year-old boy who went missing for two days inside a mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa was reunited with his father on Thursday evening, according to QTVs News on Q.
Reporter Mariz Umali said the boy, Matthew David Samudio, was spotted roaming around 7:30 a.m. in a commercial center in Sta. Rosa, Laguna with an "impoverished-looking" girl on Thursday morning.
According to Jonathan Escueta, head of security of the Balibago commercial complex, he suspected that the little boy was the missing boy that he saw in an earlier television report.
He immediately brought the boy in Sta. Rosa police station and informed the boys father, Michael Samudio.
In an earlier report in GMA news 24 Oras on Thursday, footage taken from CCTV camera inside a gaming station at the Fiesta Alabang Mall showed that Matthew was walking with an unidentified teenage girl last Tuesday.
The report on QTVs News on Q, however, did not mention the identity of the girl.
Policemen said that they will continued to investigate the case.
It is not certain if it is a case of kidnapping because no ransom was asked from the boys father, the report said.
Mr Samudio, interviewed on TV, thanked the people, police, media and Muntinlupa Rep. Ruffy Biazon who helped find his son. - GMANews.TV
