QC residential fire out; investigation starts

QUEZON CITY, Philippines - After firefighters finally put out a fire that hit a bungalow in Quezon City Sunday evening, arson investigators started their investigation into the cause of the blaze.

Radio dzBB's Benjie Liwanag Jr. reported that while no one was injured in the fire, two vehicles belonging to house owner Marietta Liamson (not Diamson as earlier reported) were damaged.

The damaged vehicles included a Toyota Altis (XAD-711) and a gray Honda Accord sedan.

The fire started at the bungalow-type house at 29 Alta Vista Drive at Alta Vista Subdivision at 4:12 p.m. and reached the fourth alarm before firefighters put it out at 5:40 p.m.

The subdivision is located in the Loyola Heights area in Quezon City.

Initial investigation showed a loud explosion shook Liamson's house. - GMANews.TV
