MANILA, Philippines - A still-unidentified man was shot dead Tuesday night while cruising on board his luxury vehicle on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), a radio report said.
In the report aired by the dzBB, a police official said that the victim was found dead inside a BMW SUV which which had smashed into a wall of the NLEX.
Bulacan police chief Sr. Supt. Allen Bantolo cited initial reports saying that the SUV sustained several bullet holes.
"May BMW SUV na nakita na nakarampa sa pader ng NLEX. Nang tiningnan nila may tama ng bala (The BMW SUV was seen at the side of the NLEX. An initial check showed it had bullet holes)," Bantolo said in an interview on dzBB radio.
He did not immediately identify the fatality inside the vehicle, saying scene-of-the-crime operations (SOCO) personnel are still processing the scene. - GMANews.TV
