MANILA, Philippines - Two armed robbers aboard a scooter on Thursday staged a five-minute heist in a courier service outlet in Manila's Sta. Cruz district.
Radio dzBB's Teresa Tavares reported that the still unidentified men barged into an LBC outlet in Masangkay St., Sta. Cruz, Manila, and immediately declared a holdup.
The report said the suspects were able to cart away P24,000 of the branch's earnings for the day, four cell phones, and P2,000 cash of one of the employees.
One of the employees, Rene Sebastian, said the robbers rode on a scooter and were last seen heading towards the Bambang area.
Just last Tuesday, at least four armed men posing as customers pulled off a daring robbery at the Lhullier-Western Union branch in Sampaloc district. - GMANews.TV
