MANILA, Philippines - The brutalized bodies of two male victims of summary execution were found in a grassy lot in Antipolo City before dawn Wednesday.
Radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported that the bodies of the still-unidentified victims were found in a grassy lot along Marcos Highway at San Jose village in Antipolo City at 5 a.m.
The first victim had his face plastered with packaging tape and had a gunshot wound in the head. He was clad in a sweatshirt and brown shorts, and was described as 20 to 25 years old.
A second victim was clad in black undershirt, and wearing a white wristband and denim pants. He had long hair and was of medium build. He had gunshot wounds in the body.
Village chairwoman Thelma Amoso said the area had been a dumping ground of sorts for victims of summary execution as it was poorly lighted.
Initial investigation showed some village officials heard at least four gunshots between 2 and 3 a.m. They later learned bodies had been dumped in the area. - GMANews.TV
