MANILA, Philippines - A mild quake rocked Nueva Ecija province Wednesday night, but state seismologists said neither casualty nor damage was reported.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was tectonic in origin, and was recorded at 8:17 p.m.
Phivolcs, in its report
(http://www.phivolcs.dost.gov.ph/update_SOEPD/Earthquake/LatestEQ/2008/July/2008Jul16.htm), traced the quake's origin 15 kilometers southeast of Palayan City in Nueva Ecija.
It said the quake was felt at Intensity II in Pansol, Laguna, and Intensity I in Palayan City. - GMANews.TV
