MANILA, Philippines - Two suspected motorcycle-riding robbers were arrested after trapping themselves inside a residential subdivision in Marikina City, shortly after staging their last heist.
DZBB reported early Wednesday that the two robbers, who were not immediately identified, were mobbed when they were forced to come out of the lone gate of Concepcion Subdivision.
Initial investigation showed the two robbers had victimized Ma. Fe Guevarra, 33, of Concepcion Village in Marikina, taking her bag after a brief scuffle.
Guevarra told police she tried to fight back but the men poked a screwdriver at her and threatened to stab her with it.
When she cried for help, a group of bystanders ran after the two, who went inside the subdivision but later found they could not get out. - GMANews.TV
