A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) is at the top of the list of 27,765 examinees who passed the Nursing Licensure Examinations conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last June.
Aira Therese Salamanca Javier of the UST College of Nursing, topped the board exams with a rating of 86.00%.
The PRC said that 27,765 out of 64,459 examinees passed the licensure exams conducted in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The figure includes first-time takers, repeaters and removals, the PRC said in its announcement.
Of the thousands of examinees, only one test taker's results was withheld by the agency pending determination of liabilities.
Oathtaking ceremonies for Manila test-takers will be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on August 19 and 20. Oathtaking ceremonies will be held in regional centers between August and September.
