MANILA, Philippines - Suspected communist New People's Army (NPA) rebels burned another cell site in Bicol Thursday night, a radio report said early Saturday.
Bombo Radyo reported that the rebels attacked the cell site of Globe Telecom in Del Gallego town in Camarines Sur province.
It said the incident occurred at 10 p.m. Thursday at Sitio Nagkalit in Sinuknipan village. Authorities estimated the damage to property at over P1 million.
Police suspect the NPAs who made the attack were members of the Romulo Jallores Command that operates in the province. - GMANews.TV
