At least 15 people were hurt when a passenger bus plunged into a river in Kawit, Cavite, before dawn Saturday.
Radio dzMM reported that a Saulog bus (DVT 914) fell into the river in Barangay Tabon Uno, Kawit town around 4 a.m.
Rescuers were able to secure 15 injured passengers of the bus and bring them to hospital.
The report said the bus fell after overtaking another vehicle. The driver apparently had a miscalculation resulting to the accident.
