Village watchman beheaded in Camarines Sur - report

MANILA, Philippines - Police in Bicol are now investigating the grisly death of a village
watchman who was beheaded in Camarines Sur province.

Radio dzBB cited initial reports early Thursday identifying the victim as Tomas Mediado of Sagrada village in Camarines Sur province.

Initial reports indicated the victim's headless body was found in San Francisco village in Bula town in Camarines Sur.

As of posting time, authorities have yet to establish the motive for the killing. - GMANews.TV
