BAGUIO CITY, Benguet Unidentified gunmen on Tuesday morning shot dead a former village councilor in Solsona town in Ilocos Norte inside her residence.
The victim, Narcisa Martillano, was shot at close range, according to police reports.
Police said that the guns must be high-powered because of the extent of the bullet wounds on Martillano's stomach.
Last year, an unidentified suspect strafed the Martillano's residence, wounding Narcisa's husband.
A man-hunt operation has been lunched to locate and arrest the suspects. - GMANews.TV
