Thieves hit La Union church

MANILA, Philippines - Unidentified thieves barged into a church in Bacnotan town in La Union province Friday, taking the church's sound system amplifier.

Bombo Radyo reported Friday night that witnesses who saw the break-in noted the perpetrators wore balaclavas.

Elmo Esperon Jr., 24, a member of the Saint Michael Archangel Parish Choir and a resident of Sipulo village in Bacnotan reported the incident to the police. - GMANews.TV
