MANILA, Philippines - Unidentified suspects gunned down two nursing students before dawn Sunday in Tondo, Manila, police reports said.
Killed in the shooting incident were Bryan Lorenzana, 18, a resident of Tondo, and Ricky, 21, of Malabon City.
Police prober Erwin Castro of the Manila Police Districts homicide section said the incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. in Francisco Street.
He said the victims, along with one Vincent Tordera, were on their way to the house of Lorenzanas girlfriend when they were approached by the suspects and shot without warning.
Tordera, who was unhurt, rushed his friends to the Mary Johnston Hospital, where they died while receiving medical treatment.
Authorities said they are unable to identify the suspects despite photos shown to Tordera.
