BEIJING - A state news agency says the government plans to rebuild Beichuan city, one of the worst-hit areas by last week's earthquake.
Xinhua News Agency said authorities would rebuild Beichuan city in a new location that has still to be decided. Beichuan is in a county by the same name in northern Sichuan province.
"Safety is the top priority in selecting a new location and reconstruction," said Beichuan Communist Party chief Song Ming was quoted as saying. - AP
