Fire hits shopping center near Baclaran LRT stationA fire hit a shopping center adjacent to the Baclaran station of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on Sunday night.
An initial report said that as of 8:31 p.m., the fire that hit the Mega-Plex building has already reached Task Force Alpha, the first alarm in a seven-tier alert system.
Pasay Fire chief Federico Maslang said the blaze started at the building’s ground floor where textile materials were reportedly kept.
The fire took place nearly a month after a blaze hit the Wellcom Plaza beside the LRT Libertad Station.
