Back from L.A. for the Eat Bulaga! event, Pauleen Luna faced Startalk hosts Joey de Leon and Lolit
Solis to tackle issues about ex-boyfriend Sherwin Gatchalian and entertainment
reporter Lhar Santiago. First off was about Lhar. Joey told Pauleen that Lhar was
not even going to ask anything about Sherwin. Did Pauleen just follow her
showbiz instincts?
"Sa totoo lang," Pauleen admitted,
"natakot talaga ako. Yun talaga ang feeling ko na natatakot ako na magsalita
ako ng hindi ko naman talaga dapat masabi and because I'm emotional, masabi ko...then
after a few months babawiin ko. Natakot ako sa questions na ayoko marinig muna.
Sabi din ng daddy ko na sana huwag munang pag-usapan and let everything settle
down first."
"Bakit iniiwasan mong pag-usapan si
Sherwin?" Lolit asked. "Sa pamamagitan ni Joey..."
"Ayun na nga po," Pauleen laughed, "na-corner
po ako!"
"Bakit nga ba kayo nag-break?"
Pauleen was quite hesistant. She
answered, "E, kasi po, uhm...marami po, e. Kulang sa oras. ‘Tapos, mga maliliit
po na bagay. Mga differences."
Joey then shared his possible insight on
the matter. He said, "Sa tingin ko, dahil bata pa, e. Hindi kaya dahil doon?"
"Bakit, "Lolit contradicted, "'Pag 35 years
old na ba hindi na mahilig sa Disneyland?"
"Bakit, ikaw ba nagdi-Disneyland ka pa?"
Joey automatically shot back.
"Hindi, ang ibig kong sabihin, halimbawa
magkasama sila ni Sherwin. Puwede silang parehong pumunta sa Disneyland."
"Baka ang gusto ni Sherwin, e, medyo
mature ng kaunti," Joey said.
Concerning Sherwin, what is their
status? Is it just a cool-off or more serious?
"Wala na po talaga," Pauleen revealed. Seeing
the shocked look on Lolit's face, Pauleen added, "Well, there's always hope on
everything. We are not naman closing our doors. Magkaibigan naman kami at nag-uusap
naman kami. Maganda naman ang pinagsamahan namin at hindi kami nag-break dahil
third party or kung ano man."
Joey asked, "Tatangap ka pa ba ng
manliligaw pagkatapos ng relasyon niyo?"
"Masyado pa pong fresh at hindi ko pa
masyadong iniisip yun," Pauleen replied. When Joey asked what her message was
for her ex, Pauleen said, "I'm so glad that he is okay. And, kung ano man yung
nangyari at mangyayari, at nangyayari, I just hope that it is the best for
everyone."
THE
ISSUE WITH LHAR SANTIAGO. Changing the subject
from the matters of the heart, Joey moved on to the issue between Pauleen and
entertainment reporter Lhar Santiago. He said that Pauleen texted Lhar after
the latter aired in his sentiment in the morning show Unang Hirit. But, in Joey's words, "Hindi siya nagreply. Aba, nag-inarte
naman si Lhar. How do you intend to patch things up?"
"Ako naman po, e, I'm very apologetic
with what I did and like what I said, natakot lang talaga ako na ma-interview
na hindi pa ako ready magsalita. And, tinext ko po siya na pasensiya na po,
hindi lang ako ready. Uhm...kakausapin ko po si Tito Lhar."
Not used to inviting reporters to air their side of an issue, Joey laughed, "Parang nakakatawa ito.
Lhar, bukas ang pinto namin sa Startalk."
He was laughing before he could finish.
So what is her message to Lhar?
"Kay Tito Lhar, pasensiya na talaga kung
na-hurt ko man kayo, e, hindi ko intensiyon yun. At sa lahat na din ng kaibigan
ko at kaibigan kong reporters na hindi ko na-entertain, e, pasensiya na talaga."
