MANILA, Philippines - A retired United States soldier and his daughter were abducted inside their house in Tagaytay City Sunday evening, a regional police spokesman said on Monday.
Senior Inspector Pamela Helaga, information officer of the Calabarzon Police, said four armed men barged inside victims' house around 8 p.m. and forcibly took retired US Marine soldier and his daughter.
Helaga said the retired soldier was later left by the kidnappers inside his car which was used by the kidnappers as their escape vehicle. Policemen found the car abandoned in Brgy. Pangil in Amadeo town, Cavite around 11 p.m.
However, kidnappers brought along with them the former US Marine's daughter.
The police official said kidnappers have demanded a P3 million ransom for the remaining kidnap victim's release. - GMANews.TV
