Manny Pacquiao chose to play basketball in a neighborhood court over gracing a send-off party at his home in General Santos City Saturday.
As Pacquiao's bout with WBC lightweight champ David Diaz gets near, Pacman's family offered a thanksgiving mass and a despedida party for him Saturday evening.
Everyone wished him well and prayed for his win, but Pacman was nowhere to be found in his own party; he was at the neighborhood gym playing basketball instead.
Pacquiao said, he's just taking his time playing one of his favorite games because once he flies to the United States, his rigid training will start and there will be no more time for fun games.
Pacman is confident he will bring home the victory over Diaz.
The fight will be on June 28 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
